It’s that time of year again where Halloween is just around the corner and we thought it would be good to put together a list for the mobile gamers out there that includes the top 10 games themed after one of the most popular creepy monster-like characters around; Zombies. With that, here’s our list of top 10 zombie games for Android.
If you’ve played either of the previous Dead Trigger games, you’ll known what Unkilled is like. It’s the typical first person zombie-themed shooter from Madfinger Games with plenty of weapons to use for slaying hordes of the undead. It features an all-new story and new characters as well as new locale, so it is a different game, but contains much of the same type of gameplay you’ll find in the likes of Dead Trigger 2. Nevertheless, the graphics are pretty good here and combat is quite enjoyable.Google-Play-Banner-Get-it-On-Large1
Zombie Deathmatch takes a totally different approach compared to many zombie games out there, and instead of giving you guns and other items to fight for your survival, it takes on a fighting game like feel and pits you against other zombies battling it out for supremacy. There’s multiple zombie characters to play and tons of items to equip which may make you better suited for battle.Google-Play-Banner-Get-it-On-Large1
If you’re a fan of the Walking Dead graphic novels, then you’ll likely want to check out Walking Dead: Road To Survival. It plays out like a role-playing game of sorts and graphics take on a more comic book aesthetic which is a nice change of pace. You’ll be fighting to stay alive as you fend off zombies but you can also gather materials to fortify your base, and make life or death choices which can steer the outcome of the game.Google-Play-Banner-Get-it-On-Large1
On offer with Minigore 2: Zombies is gameplay filled to the brim with top-down dual stick shooter mayhem. There’s a huge list of challenges you’ll need to complete along with multiple characters to play and seven huge bosses to put down. It wouldn’t be a zombie game without an arsenal of weaponry, and you can obtain tons of different guns and other weapons like bats and swords through unlocking them, as well as upgrade what you have.Google-Play-Banner-Get-it-On-Large1
Anyone who grew up in the age of computer games on an old-school Apple 2 has almost certainly played Oregon Trail. This is obviously not that game. It is, however, based on that type of gameplay. Organ Trail is a survival game with a post-apocalyptic zombie theme where you’ll need to make tough decisions and face the music with sometimes even tougher outcomes, like getting dysentery. If worry about diseases isn’t enough, you’ll also have to protect yourself from bandits trying to steal your stuff, and zombie bosses who simply want to eat you alive.Google-Play-Banner-Get-it-On-Large1
Zombie highway 2 a the sequel to the popular original, and your main goal here is to see how long you can last driving down the highway before your vehicle is overrun by the undead. There are multiple vehicles at your disposal as are a huge cache of weapons to dispatch the zombies trying to run you off the road. It plays out sort of like a runner essentially, but with a more sinister, zombie-filled twist.Google-Play-Banner-Get-it-On-Large1
If you enjoyed the original game from Coffee Stain Studios, and you also like zombies, then Goat Simulator GoatZ is just the game for you. It’s basically the same crazy bug-ridden chaos but with a touch of the undead. You can turn humans into zombies, loot things around the map, and explore a fairly large game area and do things that goats do.Google-Play-Banner-Get-it-On-Large1
Adult Swim is usually known for putting out some pretty decent and addicting games, and Zombocalypse is really no different. Expect some humorous moments alongside all the carnage of ripping through hordes of different zombie types. Yes, there are plenty of guns, and if you like your bragging rights you can shoot zombies in the face until you climb the leaderboards to the top.Google-Play-Banner-Get-it-On-Large1
Unlike the other Walking Dead game on this list, No Mans Land follows along the show instead of the graphic novels, and is more of a strategy game than role-playing although there are still a good amount of RPG elements. You’ll still have to make some tough decisions like choosing who gets to live to ultimately keep the group safe from harm, and engage in tactical turn-based combat against undead.Google-Play-Banner-Get-it-On-Large1
Following the footsteps of the original, Dead Effect 2 brings you back to space to fight off a horde of zombies in a quite large campaign mode of more than 20 hours. The game supports gamepads if you aren’t one for touchscreen controls, and there’s tons of achievements to collect if you like that sort of thing. There’s also some story development to the characters that unfold as you play to make the experience feel more immersive, and of course, graphics are top notch.Google-Play-Banner-Get-it-On-Large1
