As many diners continue to focus on takeout and delivery this season, some area restaurants are running fun meal-package specials over the course of the winter. Here’s a running list of Boston-area takeout and delivery meal deals — no thinking required, just pay one price and get multiple courses or a family-style feast.
The meals included on this list require minimal preparation, if any; most just require some simple reheating. Find everything from red-sauce Italian to sushi below.

Cafe Landwer

Cafe Landwer’s family meal takeout package ($85) feeds about five and includes chicken shawarma; schnitzels; vegan stir-fry; hummus bowl with falafel and pitas; Nutella rozalach; and a choice of three sides. There’s also a more brunch-focused package ($85) that highlights shakshuka. Hunter’s Kitchen & Bar
110 Dorchester St., South Boston
The new South Boston restaurant focuses on Southern comfort food and offers several big takeout packages, including the “big game,” which serves 10 for $215 — 10 pieces of fried chicken, a rack of St. Louis-style ribs, two pounds of smoked brisket, 12 biscuits, and various fixin’s. Mooncusser
304 Stuart St., Back Bay, Boston
Mooncusser is offering weekly takeout meal packages on Fridays, with orders accepted until Wednesday evening. A recent meal, priced at $75 and meant to feed two with leftovers, included green papaya salad with dried shrimp and fried peanuts; chicken laab lettuce wraps; rabbit leg khao soi with wonton noodles, pickled mustard greens, and chile jam; and jasmine rice pudding with mango, coconut, and palm sugar. Pagu
310 Massachusetts Ave., Central Square, Cambridge
Pagu offers a variety of take-home meal kits, such as the ramen survival kit that feeds four: a quart of broth, pork, four soy eggs, umami oil, and noodles. There are also suckling pig kits for two to eight diners ($66 – $224); the pig comes with steamed baos, pickles, hot sauce, and romesco sauces. (Order suckling pig at least two hours ahead of time.) Puritan & Co. is featuring an easy-to-reheat dinner for one ($45), including Parker House rolls with cultured butter; mixed greens salad with maple-tahini dressing; tomato-basil soup with parmesan croutons; chicken pot pie; and chocolate chip cookies. Order here.
Revival Cafe & Kitchen
125 Cambridgepark Dr., Alewife, Cambridge; 197 Elm St., Davis Square, Somerville; 103 Newbury St., Back Bay, Boston
Revival offers Wednesday night dinners for two for pickup all day at its three locations, with the menu changing each week and including a main course, sides, and dessert. (Gluten-free, dairy-free, and/or vegan accommodations are possible.) An example of a recent meal: ancho hot smoked salmon ($45) or ancho smoked tofu ($40) with Mexican kale Caesar, cilantro lime black beans, and passionfruit shortbread bars. Season to Taste
2447 Massachusetts Ave., North Cambridge
Every Wednesday, Season to Taste offers heat-and-serve meals for two for takeout and local delivery (ordering closes on Monday at noon.) The menu’s always changing, but recent examples have included roasted cod with buttered breadcrumbs, served with melted leeks, roasted honey nut squash, and a side salad; meatballs and marinara with baked rigatoni, broccoli rabe, and garlic bread; and Texas-style jackfruit chili with braised vegetarian collard greens, cornbread, and fixin’s.
Sura BBQ
27 Riverside Ave., Medford
This restaurant has pretty drastically different menus depending on whether you dine in or order from one of several third-party delivery platforms. Dine-in is focused on Korean barbecue and hot pot; delivery tends more toward other Korean dishes and popcorn chicken. (The mashiso chicken dish only available via Grubhub is a must.) The DoorDash menu offers a family meal for $70: Choose three meats (spicy chicken, spicy pork, chicken teriyaki, etc.) and also get three miso soups, three salads, three rices, six dumplings, a scallion pancake, and a side of kimchi.
Sweet Cheeks Q
1381 Boylston St., Fenway, Boston
The Sweet Cheeks “big rig” ($500) feeds up to 12 people and includes “everything but the biscuits” — every salad and scoop on the menu, plus pumpkin hush puppies, salt and pepper potatoes, fried okra, pulled pork, pulled chicken, pork ribs, brisket, smoked pork belly, fried chicken, and even more meat. Tanám offers a version of its hands-on kamayan feast for two to go ($140); preordering is encouraged, but if you order day-of, allow at least a half hour to an hour for preparation. It includes numerous components, such as spicy coconut milk mussels, roasted pork belly, soft-boiled adobo tea eggs, sausage-filled lumpia spring rolls, and much more. Bakey

The recently opened bakery, known in particular for cofounder Uri Scheft’s babka, has several takeout packages available, including the new baby package ($65), with a variety of babka options, muesli rolls, sourdough rolls, and four spreads; the get well soon package ($59), with several babkas, challah, and four spreads; and the brunch kit ($144), with challah and spreads; smoked salmon; lox; whitefish salad; a variety of cheeses; and sweet and savory baked goods (including babka). Mamaleh’s

Mamaleh’s has several brunch-y meal packages available, such as a deli sandwich kit for four ($50) with a half pound each of corned beef, pastrami, and Swiss cheese; a half pint of Russian dressing; a quart of half sour pickles; and half a loaf of A&J King Rye Bread. There’s also a smoked fish platter that feeds six ($75); a new baby welcome kit with matzoh ball soup, babka, and more ($82); and a deli classics collection ($95) with noodle kugel, potato knishes, rugelach, coffee beans, and more. The Italian restaurant is offering a special dinner for two this winter ($65), available for takeout and delivery. At press time, it includes garlic bread, a Caesar salad, chicken parm, and fusilli alla vodka; other iterations have included different pasta options. Find the latest information and order here.

Available for takeout or delivery on Mondays (Mangia Mondays, naturally), there’s a $70 dinner for two that includes five a la carte portions of pasta (choose from around nine selections), salad, and bread. Any day of the week, there’s the della casa prix fixe for two for $80, which includes three starters, two entrees, and one dessert. Order here.

Night Shift’s Boston location is offering a takeout package for $32 that includes a Detroit-style pizza (several options available) and a four-pack of Night Shift beer, either Whirlpool, Santilli, or Fluffy. Order here.

321 Arsenal St., Watertown
For $38, get a whole rotisserie chicken dinner for two that includes the restaurant’s popular snap pea salad and fries. There are also a couple options that feed four, each $75: The classic, with rotisserie chicken, snap pea salad, smashed roasted potatoes, and sweet cream ice cream, and the piri piri, with rotisserie chicken basted in piri piri sauce, garlic french fries, snap pea salad, and sweet cream ice cream. See more details in the general dinner section above, but this South Boston restaurant’s takeout packages include a “bird bucket” that serves five to 10 for $125 — 18 pieces of fried chicken, 15 biscuits, and fixin’s.
Lily P’s
50 Binney St., Kendall Square, Cambridge
Lily P’s, which focuses on fried chicken and oysters, has a “cluckin’ big feast” available for $65 that includes a whole bird (eight bone-in pieces; choose original, black pepper honey, or Nashville hot), potato salad, slaw, pickles, biscuits, and arugula salad. Order here.
Saloniki

For $28, the fast-casual Greek restaurant offers a whole spatchcock chicken with tzatziki, charred lemon, myzithra cheese, a small Greek salad, and crispy smashed potatoes for takeout. Shy Bird

Like its sibling Branch Line (see above), Shy Bird offers a chicken dinner for two. For $33, get a whole rotisserie chicken, dressed greens, and rosemary black pepper fries, along with a choice of sauce (chipotle barbecue, honey mustard, or pecorino ranch). What Da Chick
1A Crawford St., Watertown
The Watertown Thai restaurant focuses almost exclusively on khao man gai, a popular chicken rice dish with variations found throughout Southeast Asia. Feed the whole family with a $70 combo that includes family-sized portions of poached, fried, and grilled chicken; ginger rice; six daikon soups; and two portions each of three sauces (ginger, sweet chile, and tamarind). Nautilus Pier 4
300 Pier 4 Blvd., Seaport District, Boston
Nautilus is serving a Peking-inspired whole roasted duck meal for $250, which includes the duck, mixed greens or beet salad, tuna poke, and a bottle of wine. Order by phone — (857) 957-0998 — by 10 p.m. the day before pickup, with pickups available at 4 and 4:30 p.m. every day but Sunday. (The duck is also available a la carte for $120 on the standard takeout menu, for which online ordering is available.)
Wusong Road
112 Mt. Auburn St., Harvard Square, Cambridge
The new restaurant — part tiki bar, part roasted duck emporium — has been easing open in early winter 2022; it’s frequently updating the menu, hours, etc. Roasted ducks, currently available for takeout or dine-in, must be reserved 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability. For $88.88, get a whole roasted duck and accoutrements such as bao buns and sauces.
While diners miss out on the real fun of omakase — the interaction with the sushi chef and a front-row seat for the preparation — when it’s a takeout order, these take-home omakase packages make for a fun pandemic winter date-night.
Cafe Sushi
1105 Massachusetts Ave., Harvard Square, Cambridge
Cafe Sushi remains closed for in-person dining but offers takeout and delivery, including special platters for one ($60) or two ($110), available on Friday and Saturday nights, with a big selection of nigiri, sashimi, and maki. Order takeout here and delivery here.
Momi Nonmi

Umami offers several omakase options for takeout, including a 12-piece chef’s choice nigiri without toppings ($55) and a 20-piece selection of seasonal fish with toppings ($138). Find details and order online.
Clover Food Lab
1075 Cambridge St., Inman Square, Cambridge
The local vegetarian chain offers a variety of meal boxes — some based on a theme or upcoming holiday, some featuring a mix of Clover classics. Meals are meant to be easily put together in five to 10 minutes. Prices vary, but the “starter box,” available on Mondays, is $100 and feeds one or two people five meals, a snack, several desserts, and DIY sodas with seasonal syrups; it includes Clover favorites like chickpea fritter sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches. Pickup is available only at the 1075 Cambridge St., Cambridge, location; delivery is available within a 30-mile radius of Cambridge (free for orders over $60). The growing vegetarian chain — which has locations coming later this year to Boston’s South End and Cambridge’s Harvard Square — offers several meal options for pickup at any location or delivery around Greater Boston and the North Shore. The Meal Plan option includes pre-steamed, fully prepared meals that just need to be reheated, while the Meal Box option includes raw ingredients that are prepped and portioned, to be steamed and mixed at home. Choose a three-day plan for $100 (meant to serve one person for three days or two people for two days), which includes three soups, sides, entrees, and desserts; a five-day plan for $150 (one person for five days, two people for three days, or three people for two days), which includes five soups, sides, entrees, and desserts; or build a custom box. Fully vegan meal delivery service and takeout restaurant Littleburg offers an ever-changing prepared meal menu for local delivery and Somerville pickup each weekend (order by Thursday.) The menu often includes meal packages for two, such as beans, greens, and cornbread ($25) — a mini loaf of serrano and green onion cornbread; lima beans stewed with butternut squash and Greek spices; and wilted collards with pomegranate molasses and fennel; with garlic almond sauce to top everything.
